Adorable Athens, TX

Athens is known as the "Black-Eyed Pea Capitol of the World." Athens is a city and the county seat of Henderson County, Texas, in the United States. As the 2020 census, the city population was 12,857 people.

Athens has fiddle playing, and hamburgers! It's been said that the first hamburger was made in a small downtown cafe in Athens in the late 1880s and later introduced at the 1904 world fair, and the rest is history.

When our house flooded, Servpro Team Shaw was quick to respond. Bobby Carter was there within an hour of the call (our call was at 0430) and his team soon their after. By mid-afternoon, they had the excess water completely out of the house and all the drying fans going. The level of service was remarkable!
