When Water, Fire, and Storm Damage Happens in Mountain Home, We're Ready.

Whether you're looking for restoration, cleaning or construction services in Mountain Home, we're here to help 24/7.

When water intrudes into your Mountain Home property, many homeowners mistakenly believe that simply drying out visible surfaces is enough. However, the true danger lies in the hidden moisture that saturates structural components like subfloors, wall cavities, and framing. If this moisture is not professionally extracted and dried within 72 hours, it creates an ideal environment for mold growth and can compromise the structural integrity of your home over time. This delayed or incomplete drying process often leads to more extensive and costly repairs down the line, a situation our SERVPRO of Hendersonville team routinely addresses for residents across Mountain Home, NC, ensuring a thorough and lasting restoration.

Water Damage Restoration in Mountain Home, NC

Water damage in Mountain Home properties often stems from a combination of factors unique to our area. Many homes, particularly those built in the 1970s and 80s around the Blue Ridge Community College campus, feature crawl spaces that are susceptible to moisture intrusion. Heavy rains, common during our spring and summer storm seasons, can lead to groundwater seepage into these areas, saturating insulation and subflooring. Additionally, older plumbing systems, especially galvanized pipes, are prone to leaks and bursts, causing significant interior damage. When these incidents occur, rapid response is crucial. Our team arrives quickly to assess the damage, extract standing water using powerful pumps, and deploy industrial-grade dehumidifiers and air movers. We focus on drying out not just visible surfaces but also the hidden pockets of moisture within walls and floors, preventing secondary damage like mold growth and structural decay. We work to restore your property efficiently, making sure your Mountain Home home is dry and safe.

Fire Damage Restoration in Mountain Home, NC

Experiencing a fire in your Mountain Home home is devastating, and the aftermath often involves more than just visible charring. Many homes in our community, especially those with older construction, may have original wood framing and less fire-resistant materials, which can contribute to rapid fire spread. Heating systems, particularly wood-burning stoves common in some rural Mountain Home properties, also present a fire risk if not properly maintained. After firefighters extinguish the flames, smoke and soot residues permeate every surface, often causing acidic damage that continues to corrode materials. Our fire damage restoration process begins with a thorough assessment to determine the extent of fire, smoke, and soot damage. We then implement specialized cleaning techniques to remove soot from walls, ceilings, and contents, followed by deodorization to eliminate persistent smoke odors. Our team can also address structural repairs, helping to rebuild and restore your property to its pre-fire condition, minimizing disruption to your life in Mountain Home.

Mold Remediation in Mountain Home

Mold growth is a significant concern for Mountain Home property owners, largely due to our region's humid climate. Summers here are consistently warm and moist, creating ideal conditions for mold spores to thrive, especially when combined with indoor moisture sources. Properties with poorly ventilated bathrooms, leaky basements, or unsealed crawl spaces are particularly vulnerable. We frequently encounter mold issues in homes where a small leak went unnoticed for an extended period, or after a water damage event was not thoroughly dried. Our mold remediation process involves containment to prevent spores from spreading, followed by air filtration using HEPA filters to remove airborne mold. We then remove mold-infested materials, clean affected surfaces with antimicrobial agents, and apply preventative treatments. Our goal is to not only eliminate existing mold but also to identify and address the underlying moisture issues, ensuring your Mountain Home property remains healthy and mold-free.

Storm Damage Repair in Mountain Home, NC

Mountain Home, NC, is no stranger to severe weather, and our properties often bear the brunt of powerful storms. From intense thunderstorms that bring high winds and hail, common during late spring and summer, to the occasional threat of tropical storm remnants that can cause widespread flooding, our homes face diverse risks. We've seen significant damage from fallen trees during high winds, impacting roofs and structural integrity, and flash flooding from heavy downpours overwhelming drainage systems. When a storm hits, our team provides comprehensive storm damage repair services. This includes emergency board-up and tarping to secure your property from further damage, water extraction from flooded basements or living areas, and structural drying. We also handle debris removal and can assist with the reconstruction necessary to bring your Mountain Home property back to its pre-storm condition, working closely with your insurance company throughout the process.

What our
Mountain Home customers are saying

As far as drying my home from a water leak they were good, as far as there subcontractors replacing my oak floors ...an absolute terrible experience (note those pictures are different boards in the same room that are raised and not level), not taking responsibility for a gas leak from my stove after leaving a loose fitting and not replacing the flexible gas line as per regulations (one time use) leaving me with a $219 bill after I was told to call the gas company and have them billed because I smelled gas. Dishwasher never secured in place (the gas company man actually asked me if they left the dishwasher like that). I would love to share the message dialog with my project manager denying responsibility. If and when ServPro makes things right I will amend my review. I was contacted by my project manager this morning and the gas repair bill has been paid and the floor issues will be taken care of Saturday 8/1/26. I upgraded from 1 to 4 stars as ServPro did stand up and repairing my flooring.

Servepro was recommended to us by our insurance company after we had a water line bust and flood our house. They had a team at our house in a few hours from when we called. We had them complete the mitigation and dry out process as well as the repairs. At every step of the way, ServePro and all of their employees went above and beyond to provide the best care possible. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs their services.

Servpro is fantastic! They are so knowledgeable and professional and friendly and left my home spotless, not a trace of where they had been working! This excellence is why we called them to rebuild our deck, even after their storm repairs were finished! They don’t hesitate to answer any questions and did extra work to help us when we were unable to climb high ladders. We have family with allergies, and their thorough mitigation gave us confidence that there would be no more problems with mold or odor. Our supervisors were Clem and Melissa and Charlie and of course John, but the whole team are wonderful! We trust Servpro after seeing their work on our projects but also after seeing what they have done for others for over 20 years. Thank you all!

Karen Purdy

We had a kitchen fire that damaged cabinets and wooden flooring and smoke damage throughout the rest of the house. Servpro mitigation services showed up within hours and the next day a small army arrived to clean the house and everything in it, then emptied the house of furniture, etc and then demoed the damaged areas over a couple of weeks. We then employed Servpro restoration services and they coordinated the painting, flooring, new cabinets, electrical, plumbing, etc. resulting in a brand new house interior essentially. We found everyone professional, personable and receptive to our concerns.

We had major water damage to our kitchen from a water leak. Servpro provided mitigation as well as reconstruction of a new kitchen. Every one of their employees was professional, competent, and cooperative. The project manager went above and beyond in helping us.

Patricia Clow

Our house experienced catastrophic damage from a leak in a hot water line underneath. The damage mitigation crew led by Melissa, came in and assessed the damage and removed everything that was in need. This turned out to be 100% of our floors, the kitchen, both bathrooms, everything. It was then turned over to Todd, our project manager. He went above and beyond to not only repair the damage, but give us a new house. We are happier than we have ever been in our house, and ServPro made this possible. Thank you Melissa, Charlie and Todd.
