Ridgely Water Damage and Fire Damage
Ridgely was established in 1867 and named after Rev. Greenbury W. Ridgely. A railroad boom in the 1860s led to the establishment of the town and the planning of its layout. Four buildings were initially built – a railway station, a hotel, and two private residences. The local economy flourished primarily due to the agricultural activities, including strawberries grown in the area. The town is known as the Strawberry Capital of the World. The town is also known for several community organizations that support residents and organize events.
The Ridgely Lions Club meets on the 2nd and 4th Mondays each month at the Ridgely United Methodist Church. Gusts are welcome. Planning and registration for craft and food vendors for the Lion’s Club Strawberry Festival held on May 24th can be found on their website. Commissioners' Meetings are held monthly on the first Monday, beginning at 6 pm at the town office. The Planning and Zoning Commission meeting is held on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 6 pm. Check in advance for agenda items.
The Caroline County Public Library is only a few minutes away in Greensboro and Denton. The library offers a large selection of both online resources and weekly programs for children, teens, and adults.

Living on Kent Island, wet crawlspaces seem to be a way of life for us. When our sump pump failed and flooded our crawlspace, Tim Hooper and the SERVPRO of Queen Anne's guys were here immediately. They quickly mitigated the water and commenced drying out the area before mold could grow. Unfortunately, my duct work and hvac were under there, but Tim, Christian, Luke and Brandon were able to get all of the insulation and ducts cleaned out and dried. My crawlspace is actually in better shape now than it was before the flood. It is good to know that we have someone to rely on when disaster finds its way to our home.
