The entire Glendale area was once swampland, part of a 74,000-acre parcel named Fresh Ponds. It was initially chartered by the Dutch West India Company in 1642. However, the thriving German farming community saw little change until 1860. 

First, George C. Schott, a land developer, received a large portion of land as repayment for a debt. Then, in 1869, a second investor, and real estate agent, John C. Schooley, bought a property as well. Both men called their new property Glendale.

In many deodorization situations, fire damage restorers use multiple procedures to produce results. Determining the source of odors present after a fire can be challenging, as surfaces melt together and often make identification difficult. Therefore, technicians assess and reassess the deodorization process to ensure successful outcomes. We use something we call Multiple-Phase Odor Control to accomplish this task.

• Phase 1: Chemical Containment – Prevents odor molecules from vaporizing into the air.
• Phase 2: Vapor Odor Control – Counteracts odor particles that became airborne before containment.
• Phase 3: Thermal Fogging – Dispenses solvent-based deodorants that pair with the malodor, changing its chemical composition.
