One of the most important things to know about the history of Berrydale, Washington is that it was first settled by Henry Stevens in 1843. He and his family settled along the banks of Cedar Creek near its confluence with the Pend Oreille River on land that was later taken up by Joseph Henry Wilson. This land is now known as Berrydale, Washington.
