McLendon-Chisholm was incorporated in 1969 when two communities joined in order to preserve their rural lifestyle. The settlements McLendon and Chisholm were both named after landowning family. P.A. McLendon was a landowner who built a store, a gin, and blacksmith shop.  McLendon became a thriving neighborhood with rich black soil.  Enoch Parson Chisholm purchased 200 acres in 1856 and another 600 acres a few years later.  Just ten years from the original purchase, the town of Chisholm was platted in 1886. Chisholm was a farmer, landowner, and a licensed preacher who organized a church and constructed a small chapel.

Today McLendon-Chisholm is seeing growth with upscale communities and businesses being established. McLendon-Chisholm has a small town feel with the benefits of being close to the DFW metroplex.  Great places to check out in McLendon-Chisholm are Urban Air Trampoline Park, the Oasis Pickleball Club, and Rosini Vineyards.

We had a toilet to break upstairs and flood the upstairs and overflowed to the downstairs. It’s was a big job that lasted for 7 months so we got to know staff very well. They were there within 30 minutes of the call and immediately started working. Billy was our contact person who oversaw the job and we couldn’t have asked for any better service. He followed up with the contractors and adjusters for us and that relieved so much pressure on us. We have never had to deal with anything like this before and he walked us through it with ease. Everyone that worked at our house was respectful, kind and followed through with what they said they would do. I can’t imagine going through something like this without the help of Servpro and their supportive staff. I pray that we don’t ever have to go through this again but if we do, I’d call them immediately and never look back. I’d give them a 10 star if that was an option!!!!
