Oberlin, OH is a city located 31 southwest of Cleveland, Ohio in Lorain County. The town was founded in 1833 and named after Reverend John Frederic Oberlin, a famous minister. Oberlin College was established at the same time as the community. The town soon earned a reputation for its commitment to reform, in part because of its association with the college. Today, Oberlin College is a liberal arts college and music conservatory with approximately 3,000 students. I had a great experience with Chris and Samantha from SERVPRO, who came to move my furniture back and reconnect my washer and dryer. They went above and beyond—cleaning the laundry room floor by sweeping and mopping before putting anything back. They were extremely careful with my home, even placing the disassembled cabinet on moving blankets to protect the brand-new tile. Chris and Samantha also wore booties the entire time to avoid tracking in dirt, which I really appreciated. Both were respectful, pleasant, and very easy to work with. They were even so kind to my dog, giving her lots of pets and attention despite her constantly getting in their way.
