Cedar Bluffs was established in 1886. Cedar Bluffs was named because of the abrupt bluff 2 ½ miles north of the Platte River where cedar trees grew. It was a point on the Mormon, Oregon, and California Trails. The town flourished because of the large trade from surrounding territories. In 1872 the schoolhouse was built. In 1882 the schoolhouse was burnt to the ground after travelers left from camping there. \
With Cedar Bluffs being a small town there not much to do there. The local favorite place to hangout with their friends and family is Todd’s Tavern and Café. Right on main street in Cedar Bluffs you can have a night out with friends there! Another fun thing to do with friends or family is airboat tours right on the river. There's a tour guide and everything you can have a fun afternoon on the boat exploring the river.
With having a river in Cedar Bluffs there is always high risks of flooding. In 2019, with the horrible flooding all throughout Nebraska. Many people had to evacuate and find somewhere else to stay. Lathe and the team did a great job with my home. We just thought a nice deep spring cleaning was needed we have 3 kids and a dog so why not have a clean. We haven't had a cleaning like this in years so my wife and I thought it was necessary. They did a great job. Everyone was very nice and they got the job done in a good amount of time. They were very thorough with their cleaning and the equipment they used really impressed me. I'll definitely be calling them again when it is time for another clean.

They got their team out the same day and started working on my basement. The finishing product was amazing. They did a great job and the people are so nice and caring. They made sure I as happy with what they were doing. I recommend SERVPRO they're great and they have great team.

They did a great job of making sure that did not have to happen. They gave me a run down of the treatment process. My basement looked great after they were done. So, if anything happens again I'm going to give them a call.
Kudos to the SERVPRO Omaha Southwest group that came to my home 9/17. This is the emergency crew that came to Milwaukee to help remove water from many flooded basements and buildings. I am the property coordinator for a property in Elkhorn. We had water intrusion in the basement and black mold.
