Pacific Palisades offers many stunting hikes , the Backbone trail extends 67.79 miles across the mountains all the way to Topanga Canyon. The Backbone Trail runs through both Malibu and Pacific Palisades, with its western terminus in Point Mugu State Park in Malibu.
Hollywood actor Will Rogers build a weekend cottage in Pacific Palisades and his family made it their home in 1928. In the interest of historical preservation, the home is maintained as it was including the furniture and fixtures. It is open to the public most days with the exception of major holidays, although admission is required.
If you visit Pacific Palisades do not miss visiting Gladstone's, a seafood restaurant located at the Will Roger Beach. Its worth the dining experience.

I had recently discovered a water/mold problem in my master bathroom. I called a mold treatment/testing company to come out first, and then took some random tests and gave me an estimate that had cost over $7000. I did not understand their inspection or what they said needed to be done so I decided to get a second opinion and found SERVPRO of Malibu on Yelp. There is a reason they are highly rated.
I first worked with Angel who inspected thoroughly inspected the bathroom including going under the house to the crawl space. He then gave me an estimate for half of what the other company proposed and even did more work. They are incredibly professional and courteous and answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly.
It's quite refreshing to work with someone that you can trust knowing that they have your interest in mind. I highly recommend them.
