Pacific Palisades Cleanup and Restoration

We are victims of the recent Palisades Fire. Our house suffered significant smoke damage which needed to be properly remediated before it could be occupied again. Jitka and her team were just fabulous to work with, their work was exceptionally thorough and fairly priced. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of this kind of service.

SERVPRO Malibu did a very thorough job. Jitka was super responsive, and I'm altogether very happy with the experience.

When we got a small water leak from a failed toilet gasket on the 2nd floor, the insurance adjuster said that they were going to send somebody out to review the severity of the problem. Since they were sending out their referral, I expected that the reviewer was going to be biased in the favor of the insurance company and that they would try and minimize the claim and the cost to repair the damage. Based on the late-in-the-day timing, Jitka Stanley (the owner of the Malibu ServPro) came out instead of scheduling someone from her staff for the next day. After she reviewed the damage, she ordered a mold test and took readings that showed much more moisture than there should have been for a small leak that started on the 2nd floor. It turns out that there was mold and substantial moisture damage from a long-term leak that was under the sink and behind the wall in the kitchen that would not have been found except for Jitka’s thoroughness. Additionally, I was extremely surprised that Jitka was so fair with me, the homeowner, instead of telling me the damage was inconsequential which is what you would have expected since she was referred by the insurance company. All in all, I was VERY impressed by Jitka and her team because she explained everything to me, showed me where we’d see trouble spots if the cleanup was not done correctly and then they went totally above board to make sure the job was done better than perfect. Jitka and her team have been amazing. She is super responsive and on top of everything. I am a property manager in Pacific Palisades with 10 homes that need remediation having to deal with many different companies jitkas team was by far the best compared to the other companies I had to work with. Highly recommend using her.

I want to leave this review, super quickly, because I know how valuable amazing service is what we desperately need right now. Servpro has just finished the remediation on our house, it took 3 days and I popped in every day…they had a huge workforce that detail cleaned every part of the whole interior of our home…I was astonished! We didn’t even ask, they just did!!! I hope none of us ever go through anything like this again, but this company will forever be my go to!

SERVE PRO helped us after the Franklin Fire in Malibu. We narrowly survived. Our property is entirely burnt, but the house is standing. We deployed a fire retardant system that we have, which left the house coated in a sticky residue mixed with soot and ash. It was all over the roof, structure, windows, deck, and patio furniture. They were able to power wash the structure, windows, deck, and the patio furniture. After the initial power wash, they returned to detail the windows and detail clean all the cushions. They look like brand new. I thought I was going to have to replace them all. Yitka, who is SERVE PRO's Malibu representative, came out immediately to assess the damage, dispatching someone to do a detailed estimate the next day and work started within a week of the fire. We couldn't be more pleased. Everybody who worked on the house. were so knowledgeable, thorough courteous, on time, and really knew their job. I will not hesitate to call them in the future - even for routine maintenance like window washing every spring and patio cushion cleaning. Thank you, Jitka and SERVE PRO.
