South Highlands is a quiet, family oriented community. It is known as ‘The Heart of the Valley’ because it is set at the base of the Tualatin Mountains and just at the edge of Sherwood, which makes it a great place to raise kids and have fun. It has a population of 1,900 people and a total area of 3.9 square miles.
History of South Highlands
South Highlands was established in 1984 and has seen significant changes to its infrastructure and the development of large new neighborhoods.The South Highlands neighborhood has more Yugoslav and Croatian ancestry people living in it than nearly any neighborhood in America. In fact, 2.6 percent of this neighborhood's residents have Yugoslav ancestry and 1.7 percent have Croatian ancestry. Some notable attractions include Ramona Stables, where you can learn how to ride horses; Sunset Point Recreation Area, which offers plenty of outdoor recreation; the Mattawa schoolhouse museum; and Sacred Heart Mission Church, which was built in 1929 by Ojibway Native Americans.

Jessica and her ability to put your mind at ease is something that I will never forget. Making sure that you understand what is going on with any issues that arise from her inspection and giving you photographs to show the proper people who will come in and fix the problem after her and her crew clean up the mess is very thorough.
