Christiansburg, Virginia is located in Montgomery County in Southwest Virginia and is known for being a great place to raise a family or retire since it is quiet and family-oriented. It serves as the county seat of Montgomery County. It is accessible via US 460, US 11, and I-81, making it simple to get to from neighboring cities. Since its inception in 1850, it has grown from a small town with just over 100 residents, to over 22,473 people and growing. It is the home of the New River Community College, the Starlite Drive-In Movie Theatre, and the Uptown Christiansburg Mall. Christiansburg tends to get a little snowier weather in the winter, but has moderate seasons otherwise. Cold weather here can take a toll on the buildings in the area, so water damage restoration from the snow and freezing temperatures is a necessary service. We had an upstairs pipe burst and it flooded the bedroom downstairs and the ceiling fell in. Dakota and Daniel came out after hours and stayed until they had the entire mess cleaned up and plastic put on the ceiling joists to help keep dirt and wind out until it could be repaired. After a couple of days of drying from their fans and heat, Daniel came back out to test for moisture and clean the carpet. Dakota and Daniel make a great team! They are very professional and thorough with attention to detail. We will definitely call ServPro again if needed! They communicated with the insurance company through and after the entire job.
