This is a recommendation for ServePro of Richardson, but more specifically for Jose Guerrero who acted as the general contractor and insurance liaison. We met Jose of ServePro when we had an insurance claim for flooding in our home. From the beginning Jose was very helpful in working with the insurance company and being sure they had all the information they needed. Our insurance adjuster was very difficult to work with but Jose kept things going. As the work progressed Jose became the general contractor for the repair. He made sure we understood the work that was needed and estimating the time required for the repairs. He kept us well informed of the progress in general but also in letting us know which and when contractors would be arriving. He came to check on the progress everyday and if I missed him at the house he would always call to check in. Our water damage was very extensive, requiring the wood flooring in the entire first floor to be removed which included all the cabinets, countertops, and appliances. I was very nervous about damage that might happen to all those things being removed but in the end it all went back in very nicely. Jose was there for every step along the way making sure the work was done correctly. When additional (hidden) damage was found he documented and filed it with the insurance company, often having to “do battle” with them for approval. We had a bathroom that needed to be gutted and remodeled so we decided to add that on as a separate (non-insurance) job. Again Jose kept us well informed and the contractors flowing through on time. In the end the work was completed on time and to my expectations of quality. I had the pleasure of having Memo, Trent, and Oswaldo out to my house to check for mold in both my attic and crawl space. They were respectful, clean, and thorough while here to do their job. They shared the results with me and gave me honest suggestions.
They did a great job, were very conscientious about their work and always came when they said they would. We had a great experience all around.

I had a pipe that bursted at my home while I was out of town. I called Servpro and Doris talked me through the process and made me feel comfortable letting her crew go into my home while I was away. Everyone I spoke with was nice and was knowledgeable.

Servpro worked well with our insurance and their estimates and documentation ensured a smooth insurance claim process as the scope of work grew. Our construction coordinator Ajay was in communication with us every step of the way and they were able to get us back in our home two weeks ahead of schedule. It was great to have the entire process go through one company and they did a great job.
We had to have essentially our entire kitchen redone after a slow and insidious leak. Servpro did a wonderful job, including holding our hand during difficult decisions. We have been very happy with the results and their service!
