The small town of Peak, South Carolina is in Newberry South Carolina with a population of less than a 100 people. The towns total area of 0.03 square miles is a majority of mostly land. The town of Peak is located along the Broad River. The town of Peak was founded in 1853 and was a prosperous stop on the Greenville and Columbia Railway. The town of Peak was named after the Railroad Superintendent, HT Peak – but like many other small towns in South Carolina – when the railroad was destroyed during the Civil War, the town of Peak had a difficult time recovering.
The town of Peak is now part of the Palmetto Trail – the organization program that turns abandoned railroads into hiking trails – this little town is now a popular area to the Palmetto Trail. This trail will take hikers from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the coast.

They even took an oriental rug to their facility to clean it and returned it promptly. Kimberly and Mel have a wonderful community spirit and volunteer and help wherever needed.
