Clinton is home to The Battle of Musgrove Mill that occurred in 1780 and the infamous Musgrove Mill Golf Club. The course is surrounded by wetlands and rough terrain – and considered one of the toughest courses to play in the State. South Carolina is known for some of the top Golf Courses in the United States and Musgrove Mill is one of the toughest in the State.

Dempsey’s Pizza a locally owned and operated icon restaurant was severely affected by a fire that broke out near an electrical panel in the stock room.
