Dix Hills is a beautiful and thriving town that is centrally located on Long Island. Initially called Dick's Hills, its name traces back to a local native named Dick Pechegan. The hilly land's name was shortened to "Dix Hills" by 1911. Located in Dix Hills, The Art League of Long Island (ALLI) is a unique not-for-profit organization dedicated to broad-based visual arts education. It provides a forum and showcase for artists of all ages and ability levels. ALLI's mission is focused on enhancing Dix Hill's and all of Long Island’s cultural life by promoting the appreciation, practice and enjoyment of the visual arts. The Art League of Long Island offers a variety of classes, workshops, exhibits, lectures, museum tours, fine art and craft shows. Collaborative events and outreach programs spread the joy of creativity.

I had a frozen pipe burst in my house. Vincenzo, Tom, and their team was outstanding. They were at my house, provided an initial clean up, and had dryers & dehumidifiers going within just a few hours. They packed out my entire basement, moved everything into a storage unit, and continued their services for a week. This, while also dealing with multiple other people having similar issues due to the snow & freezing temperatures in NY. The situation was/is terribly inconvenient, but they honestly made things a little easier. I recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in this type of situation.
