Peletier is a town in Carteret County, North Carolina, United States. The population was approximately 644 at the 2010 census. The town was named for the late-18th century Pelletier family. Though it is a small town, Peletier is connected to and also shares the same zip code as Bogue, Cape Carteret, Cedar Point, and Swansboro, it is placed down Highway 58 so in most cases visitors have to travel through Peletier to access our Crystal Coast, more specifically our main beach, Emerald Isle.
