Berkley is located in Oakland County Michigan. It is a suburb just miles north of Detroit. The population 15,194 according to the 2020 US Census. The city was incorporated as a village in 1923 and became a city in 1932. Berkley is 2.62 sq miles.

The city is well known for its participation in the iconic Woodward Dream Cruise www.woodwarddreamcruise.com. The dream cruise is a parade of classic cars and is celebrated in a weekend long event that is enjoyed by thousands. The area celebrates the motor cities love of classic, muscle cars, and sports vehicles. In addition to the dream cruise, the city hosts an annual winter fest and summer fest that partners with local businesses and volunteers. 

Berkley celebrates small businesses and especially Michigan made products. There are two large shopping districts of dining, shopping, fashion, and hand crafted jewelry. Art is also central to the community. The city hosts an annual Art Bash which hosts local artists that feature jewelry, pottery, clothing, art, accessories, and paintings. This fair brings in about 10,000 visitors a year.

Great customer service and saved me money! This was the easiest part of dealing with a roof leak. I had water damage to a small spot in my 2nd floor ceiling that occurred months ago, I ended up getting a new roof and then had a mold inspection conducted by a 3rd party afterwards to determine next steps. The mold report did not find signs in the air, but still recommended remediation. I called ServPro of Ferndale to get a 2nd opinion and help on next steps. Gino looked at my mold report, came over the next day looked at my concern, went into my attic and gave me an honest opinion. Thank you!
