It is located approximately 25 miles northwest of downtown Orlando and belongs to the broader Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area. It’s a small community with an estimated population of around 2,500 to 3,000 people. The population is diverse, with residents coming from various backgrounds and ethnicities as well. Tangerine, like the rest of Central Florida, has a humid subtropical climate. This means it experiences hot and humid summers with frequent rain and thunderstorms, as well as mild, drier winters.

While Tangerine is primarily residential, its proximity to other towns and cities in Central Florida provides plenty of opportunities for entertainment, shopping, and dining. These roadways include State Road 441 (Orange Blossom Trail), State Road 429 (Daniel Webster Western Beltway), and State Road 414 (John Land Apopka Expressway). With that said, it is a peaceful, unincorporated community with a friendly atmosphere and easy access to the amenities of nearby cities. Its location in Central Florida makes it conveniently located for residents who want to enjoy a more rural lifestyle while still having access to urban attractions and conveniences.

Servpro did an amazing job at our house last week when our water softener decided to malfunction and leak into our garage and master bathroom closet. I called around 1:30pm and Felipe Freeza was at our house the same day to set up equipment and begin the drying-out process. He was so kind and patient, and explained things very well.
