Rick Forster
President
Rick Forster was appointed President of Servpro Industries, LLC, in March 2019. He previously served as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SERVPRO.
He served in the United States Marine Corps for seven years in active and reserve duty. He previously worked with Ernst & Young, then known as Arthur Young & Company, as a Certified Public Accountant and an auditor. Rick joined SERVPRO in 1983 as the Corporate Controller. He later served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer prior to being appointed President.
In 2005, Rick conceptualized and was instrumental in founding the Restoration Risk Retention Group. Under Rick’s leadership, the company was formed by SERVPRO franchisee policyholders to support expansion of SERVPRO’s National Accounts business. By offering liability insurance that met the requirements of National Accounts carrier partners, providing stable insurance prices and availability to SERVPRO franchisees, RRRG has been a key contributor to the success of SERVPRO and franchisees. By 2018, the company had more than $17 million in premiums, $78 million in total assets, and in 2019 earned an A (Excellent) rating from AM Best, the nation’s leading rating service for insurance companies.
Rick Forster earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of San Diego. He later earned a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi.
