Charlie Young

Charlie Young joined SERVPRO Industries, LLC in 2026 as its Chief Human Resources Officer. He is responsible for all areas of Human Resources, including recruiting, compensation, benefits, payroll, learning, talent, organizational development, and HR operations.

Young has more than 25 years of progressive human resources experience. Most recently, he served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Encore, the world's largest event production company, where he led the Global Human Resources Team from 2016 to 2026. Under his leadership, Encore was certified as a Great Place to Work from 2023 to 2025 and was recognized as a Fortune Top 100 Best Company to Work For in 2024 and 2025.

Prior to Encore, Young served as CHRO for hhgregg for eight years. Before that, he spent 21 years at Sears in a range of operational and leadership roles, then served as Vice President of HR, Retail Store Operations and Supply Chain.

Young was born in Philadelphia and earned his bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Gettysburg College.
