Tanner Owen

As Chief Financial Officer, Tanner leads SERVPRO’s financial strategy, planning, and performance management as it executes against long-term growth objectives. Tanner joined SERVPRO in August 2025 as Senior Vice President of Finance, FP&A, overseeing financial planning and strategic capabilities.

Prior to joining SERVPRO, Tanner served as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis and Strategy at Dollar General, reporting to the SVP of Finance. He oversaw core FP&A functions, including P&L consolidation, forecasting, long-range planning, and capital allocation. Tanner also played a key role in M&A and corporate development, leading deal evaluation, financial modeling, and strategic recommendations. He managed more than $11 billion in expenses and $1.3 billion in annual capital planning across 4,000-plus real estate projects annually and oversaw the company’s corporate venture fund. Tanner worked closely with the CEO and CFO on enterprise strategy, performance metrics, and investment decisions.

Tanner earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Vanderbilt University, where he also served as Student Body President.
