About Soddy-Daisy, TN
Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, is a small town located in the middle of Tennessee. The city is best known for its beautiful scenery and its great schools. Soddy-Daisy is made up of mostly young families, but has also attracted many older retired couples who enjoy living out their last years there due to how safe it is. The History of Soddy-Daisy
Soddy-Daisy was known for being one of the first planned cities in Tennessee. The town is named for the Soddy and Daisy mines that both once operated in the area. It was at one time owned by George Jones, Sr., an early settler who operated a smelting operation here to process copper from other nearby mines.
