Bells, TN located in Crockett County was established in the late 1820s. Bells was established on land acquired by brothers John and William Bell. The city was founded on the land of the Bell Brothers in 1855, it was given the name “Bells Depot.” The city was incorporated in 1868, and the “Depot” was removed from the name in 1880. 

Bells is a small town set in Rural West Tennessee. Green Frog Farm is nestled right in the middle of this naturally beautiful Tennessee farm country making a backdrop for an unforgettable experience. Dr. John Freeman has restored more than 20 structures that range from a moonshine shed to a cotton gin built in 1910.
