Lake Harmony is a charming community tucked into the hills of Carbon County, Pennsylvania. 

In 1941, Split Rock Lodge was built as an exclusive hunting resort for Lehigh Coal and Navigation Company executives. The lodge helped to establish Lake Harmony as a local retreat destination. Today, Split Rock is one of several family-friendly resorts in the town. As Lake Harmony continues to grow in popularity, a range of comfortable accommodations, including hotels, vacation homes, cabins, and cottages have been added.

Sports enthusiasts enjoy Lake Harmony’s many heart-pounding attractions. NASCAR fans flock to Pocono Raceway, the superspeedway also known as the Tricky Triangle!  The town is also home to the world’s largest paintball facility. Skirmish Paintball Center spans over 700 acres and contains 50 playing fields.

Lake Harmony is the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors year-round. In colder months, skiers and snowboarders participate in a variety of competitions and events at the town’s two major ski resorts- Jack Frost and Big Boulder. Throughout Spring and Summer, locals and visitors enjoy hiking, fishing, and camping in Hickory Run State Park.

Like the rest of the Pocono mountain range, Lake Harmony’s weather is temperate and wet. Humidity and rainfall help to prevent wildfires. However, fires do still occur.
