Located in Bensalem Township, Cornwells Heights was a census-designated place in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The area was split into two CDPs, Cornwells Heights and Eddington, for the 2010 census. The community grew on the hill above the rail line and is thought to take its name from Thomas Cornwell, who worked the local land in the early 19th century.

Like a lot of the areas outside of Philadelphia, this suburban part has a Pennsylvania Railroad station called Cornwells as early as 1871. This Amtrak railroad provides easy access for commuters to travel in and out of Center City Philadelphia.

Cornwell Heights consists mainly of residential properties with some commercial areas. Residents have easy access to I-95, which leads south to Philadelphia or north to New Jersey/New York. Also located in Cornwell Heights is the historic Vandegrift Cemetery.
