SERVPRO Serves Lacey Township with Emergency Water and Fire Dame Cleanup 24/7

Lacey is considered a waterfront community with a working-class vibe. The township of Lacey is the second largest in Ocean County and was named for Revolutionary War General John Lacey and was formed on March 23, 1871. It is conveniently located along US Highway Route 9 and the Garden State Parkway and to the east of the Parkway are more than 95% of its residential dwellings. To the west of the Parkway is a mostly undisturbed pine and cedar forest, known as part of the Pine Barrens, where fewer than 1,000 residents live. We are a paradise for boaters, those who like to fish or clam, and anyone who gravitates toward the water. We have 5 ramps for launching all types of watercrafts for both motorized and non-motorized vessels including one with free public access on the Forked River at Lakeside Drive. We have lots of residents that took advantage of the river for waterfront living and now reside on the north, middle and south branches of the Forked River. We also have Lake Barnegat & Deerhead Lake to relax at on a warm day to soak up the sun and watch our aquatic birds.

Living or owning a business in a waterfront community has many perks but also comes with some downsides. Storm surges and flooding can be one of the biggest downsides besides the summer traffic. SERVPRO’s are locally owned and operated so we are always nearby when storm, water or fire damage occurs. Our technicians are IICRC trained and we have the specialized equipment to handle any size property damage.

Up until 2018, we were home to the nation's oldest operating nuclear power plant, Oyster Creek Power Plant, having first been brought online on December 1, 1969 but was closed after it was concluded it had been altering conditions in the Barnegat Bay for decades, discharging water that was 10 degrees hotter than normal. We also have farms like Anvil Farms that offer seasonal fruits and vegetables that are locally grown without the use of GMO seeds and handpicked for you daily to ensure we get fresh and healthy goods with every visit. Perfect for spring, summer and fall meals!

I had a pretty big issue with a flood in my bathroom, bedroom and a few smaller rooms.   Roland Miller and his partner Jim did a great job educating me on the process and then performing the required cleanup   They put my mind at ease (as much as possible) given the circumstances.  I recommend them highly.

We had a sizable amount of water damage due to a problem with our refrigerator. We notified SERVPRO of Jackson/Lacey on a Wednesday afternoon, and the crew arrived promptly the next morning. Roland and Marvey were wonderful as were the rest of the team. All work to be done was explained clearly and thoroughly. Everyone took the utmost care when moving our furniture and packing contents of the drawers. They made a stressful situation more tolerable. All workers were totally professional, yet extremely personable and friendly. I would highly recommend them to my friends and neighbors and would welcome Roland, Marvey and any of the crew back into my home without hesitation. When the job was finished, we felt as though we were saying goodbye to friends rather than workers! Such a great group of competent and respectful men.

Having everyone involved in the restoration process in our home working tirelessly has been a pleasure. Chris was incredible, keeping us informed of each step required to complete the job and making sure all work was handled professionally and respectfully. We now have beautiful new hardwood floors and carpeting and couldn’t be more pleased with how the friendly and highly competent workers finished the job.
