Water Damage and Fire Restoration and Cleanup in Mt. Vernon 

Vernon is a town in New Hampshire's county of Hillsborough. Spelling for Mt. Vernon varies between Mont Vernon and Mount Vernon. However, the "u" in Mount is rumored to have been dropped by the town clerk while filling out official registration papers. Some folks suggest the "u" was dropped to honor the predominantly French-speaking population at the time. The area was initially populated by settlers looking to set up farms in the area. Today, it is considered a suburban community.  

The Mont Vernon General Store, located on Main St, has been open since 1840 and is open every day of the week. Initially, the store sold local produce and items to meet the needs of a farming community. Today, in addition to local goods, there is a commercial kitchen that offers a variety of sandwiches, soups, salads, and take-out meals. This store is the center of the community. 

Mont Vernon Village School's 2nd Grade Girl Scout Troop meets on Tuesdays, our 3rd Grade Girl Scout Troop meets every other Friday, and our 4th Grade Girl Scout Troop meets on Fridays in the main lobby of MVVS. 

The Town of Mont Vernon holds regular meetings every month. These include the Board of Selectman meeting on Mondays at 7 p.m., the Conservation Meeting at 7 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month, and additional meetings such as the Cemetery Trustees meeting and the Planning Board meeting.
