Richmond is a city located south of Memphis. It contains several restaurants and little shops in the downtown area. The town is best known for its event, the Richmond Good Old Days. This event is held annually on the weekend after Labor Day and lasts for four days. All  weekend there are carnival rides, food trucks, a beverage tent, and motorsports. In addition, a firework show is given one of the nights and there is a parade on the last day of the event. Miss Richmond and Little Miss Richmond are crowned each year. There is also a 5K run held in the evening of the first day and an outhouse race on the second day. There are so many activities for both children and adults throughout the four days. This draws a lot of visitors into town to enjoy themselves as summer begins to quickly wind down. The township of Richmond also offers events for seniors and toddlers throughout the summer months such as senior exercise and story time. The Richmond Public Library also hosts several fun summer reading programs for young kids and teenagers. With Richmond being a bit of a larger city, there are many residents living within the boundaries. A water system problem or fire could happen by surprise at any time. We had storm damage in the spring of 2024. Due to missing shingles which caused a lot of water damage. We called ServPro one of 3 companies that our insurance co. gave us to pick from. In less then a hour they were there to seal up our roof. We gave them the contract to do all the repairs on our house. I have to say these people are on the ball, they worked with our insurance adjuster, who was not the easiest person to work with. Also the sub contractors that they used, did a superb job, better then we expected. There foreman Mike was always easy to get a hold of and kept us informed about the job. Rob the owner was very nice and handled a lot of the work that went on behind the scenes. The whole staff at ServPro was great to work with. Thanks so much to Susan and Rob and Scott and our buddy Mike and also Benny for the puppy fix.

Servpro was hired Derek and the crew came out in a jiffy mitigated the problem that was extremely hard and challenging to get to in order to fix problem of the excessive amount of water accumulation in the crawl which has been resolved and the crawl is dry with no issues as of now
