Ray is a small town located east of Romeo, Michigan. The town used to be a part of Armada, but was later made its own area. It has been given the name of "The Jewel of Macomb County." The township offers weekly walks and exercise events for seniors, along with occasional BINGO and craft days. The Wolcott Mill Metropark is located completely in the boundaries of Ray. Finally, Ray is home to the Youngblood Vineyard which was voted the best Detroit winery in 2020 and 2021. The vineyard offers wine tastings, hosts private events, and is a beautiful spot to have an outdoor wedding. Ray has many old farmhouses in its boundaries that are more prone to electrical and water problems resulting in the need for water or fire damage restoration.
