Harrison Charter Township, AKA "Boat Town U.S.A.," is a charter township in Macomb County, Michigan, with a population of 26,004. There are 10,720 households and 6421 families living in the Township. It got its nickname from the many marinas dotting the shoreline, and residents love the small-town feel and the safe neighborhoods. Sixty-nine percent of the houses are owner-occupied. The Township was formed in  1827, becoming a charter township government in 1978.
