The city of Marriottsville, Maryland is an unincorporated community that actually touches three counties. Although there is some speculation as to the exact year, it is widely accepted that the town was established in 1664. Marriottsville is full of history having survived both good/prosperous years as well as natural disasters. In 1866, Reeses Mill was washed out by a catastrophic regional flooding that destroyed many structures. Who knows, maybe If SERVPRO had been around back then the Mill would still be around!
