Millbrook is a village in Kendall County, Illinois. It was incorporated on November 5, 2002, and had a population of 335. Millbrook is the home to the Silver Springs State Fish and Wildlife Area which is an Illinois State Park on 1,350 acres. The park was established in the late 1960s and is named for the natural spring within its boundaries. The park has two artificial lakes and the Fox River flows through the northern end of the park. Silver Springs hosts a variety of activities including fishing, hunting, boating and hiking.
While driving through the beautiful rural landscape and quite peaceful atmosphere around the Fox River, you can take time to fish from the historic Millbrook Bridge over the Fox River which was built in 1897 and still stands at the original river crossing. You can take a nature hike in one of many scenic forest preserve properties or you can stop and put your canoe in the water at the Shuh Shuh Gah Canoe Launch and really get a view of the Fox River and all its wildlife. My State Farm agent suggested I contact this firm to help remediate a water problem in my basement. The manager did contact me quickly and had a crew at my home in 2 hours. They were professional and worked quickly. They also worked around my schedule to check on the dehumidifiers and measured the walls to make sure the moisture was gone. They also sprayed the interior of the walls with a solution to present mold/fungus. I would call them again.
