Farley, Iowa is a small, friendly town located in the northeastern part of the state of Iowa. Farley got its start in the 1850s following the construction of railroads. With a population of just over 1,500 people, Farley has a close-knit community that is known for its welcoming residents and beautiful natural surroundings.
Farley is a city in Dubuque County, Iowa, United States. It is part of the Dubuque, Iowa Metropolitan Statistical Area. Farley is the seventh-largest town in Dubuque County, recently passed by Peosta, Iowa.
In addition to its natural beauty and a strong sense of community, Farley is also home to many great cultural attractions. The town is home to the Farley Speedway, which hosts a variety of races throughout the year, including stock car races truck and tractor pulling, and demolition derbies. The town is also home to the Farley Heritage Museum, which preserves and shares the history of the area.
Farley got its start in the 1850s, following construction of the Dubuque and Sioux City Railroad through that territory. Farley was named for the superintendent of the Sioux City Railroad.
One of the things that makes Farley so special is its location. The town is situated in the rolling hills of northeastern Iowa, which provides residents with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. We had water in our basement from a bad storm like lots of other people. I called around 7:30 and by 8:30 a team was there getting things cleaned out. Things that were to be junked was taken away and we didn't have to do it ourselves. They sent the paperwork to our insurance so we had to do nothing with that. Todd and his team were a HUGE help to us when the spring snow melt sent water into our basement. Todd came out personally to look at what was happening and where the water was coming in. He was back the next day to help move a couple pieces of furniture and put a fan under the carpet to help dry it out. I was out of town on business and he was a HUGE help to my wife with advice on cleanup and prepping for the drying cycle.
