Ocean View is in Sussex County and is one of the best places to live in Delaware. Living in Ocean View offers residents a suburban rural mix feel and most residents own their homes. After the American Civil War (1861–1865) people began to take an interest in visiting the Atlantic beaches to the east of Hall's Store and it was discovered that the Atlantic Ocean was visible from the second story of some buildings in the village; because of this, Hall's Store was renamed Ocean View. For many years; Ocean View was a part of the flourishing poultry / agriculture industry on the shore. Although Ocean View is no longer engaged in the commercial growing of chickens, the village has evolved into a residential beach front community that attracts thousands of visitors during the summer season. With a population of 2,039 year round residents, Ocean View in the 21st Century has become a delightful and wonderful Town conducive of a peaceful small town lifestyle. With the population in the Ocean View area growing at one of the fastest rates in our state; the residents rely on our fire and water services on almost a daily basis.  In addition to fire and water; we have cleaned many businesses and residences in Ocean View. Our basement was flooded so we had Servpro due two things: initial flood, mitigation, and flood damage restoration. Both aspects were completed quickly and extremely well. We are especially delighted with Servpro’s subcontractors for the reconstruction which included the removal and replacement of carpet and padding and painting of baseboards and door casings. Not only was at work very well done, but the cleanup was exceptional. There was not a trace of dust, dirt, etc. The Servpro project managers for each phase of the work was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. A+ Ratings for all!

Definitely highly recommend they came out in less than 12hrs to help with a A leak that came through Our playroom ceiling from all the snow and rain we just got, they set up machines with dehumidifiers and fans to dry out the area. They came back 2 to 3 days later to take out some of the sheetrock so we can replace it from whatever water it was damaged in They were very respectful knowledgeable, They kept us informed every step of the way definitely made us feel at ease.
