Deodorization Equipment

Specialized Drying

Water damage and fire damage cause damage to contents that cannot be dried through conventional means, such as documents and electronics, demanding specialized drying techniques. For documents, SERVPRO uses such methods as:

  • Air drying, assisted by the use of air movers.
  • Dehumidification for documents and books is moderately damp.
  • Freezer drying, which we use when it’s just a few books that need drying.
  • Vacuum freeze-drying extracts moisture through methods involving temperature and vacuum.
