Nitro, West Virginia is a small, but growing city that has been incorporated since 1932. Nitro is directly off the Kanawha river and is known to be the living memorial to World War I, receiving its name from factories making Nitrocellulose during the gunpowder shortage. Once a booming factory town Nitro has become more modernized and has numerous restaurants, stores, and parks. Nitro High School, home of the Wildcats is located in the heart of the town and is a West Virginia School of Excellence and has excelled in its athletic department bringing in many championships over the years. Ridenour park has many great activities and sites for the residents. Ridenour is known for the large man-made lakes in the middle of the park. Nitro is known to have numerous parades, ceremonies, and festivals as a reembrace and appreciation to the veterans of our military.

We found out our water heater ruptured 50+ gallons of water throughout our basement. Within an hour of discovering our flooded basement Jon Atkins, John T and John H arrived onsite and were in our basement. They vacuumed water, moved our items and setup dehumidifiers as well as 15-20 air movement fans throughout our basement. The guys worked hard for several hours and performed professionally. Tuesday that crew, along with Brittany, returned for their equipment as well as to remove water damaged personal property. A photographic record as well as a description accompanied each item removed. I cannot stress how highly we recommend these people and ServePro.
