Camp Lake is a neighborhood which is southeast of Silver Lake and located in the Village of Salem Lakes. The Town is named afer the lake apon which the town was built around. Some of the earliest visiors to the area were children and their mothers from Chicago. With Camp Lake being the center of the town the lake is approximately 439 acres. The lake has public boat landings and has a plethora of fish to be caught. If you chose to fish these waters you can expect to be fishing for Northern Pike, Walleye, Catfish, and Large mouth bass. The deepest part of the lake is about 19 ft deep, but you can find the average depth to be about 5ft deep. One place you dont want 5ft of water though is in your home. Our basement flooded over two weeks ago. The South Kenosha County SERVPRO team stepped up and were able to help us when all St. Louis companies were inundated with calls from the recent flooding.
