With only 504 people, Charlotte Court House is the 471st most populated city in the state of Virginia out of 666 cities. The town is located near the center of Charlotte County and is a quiet and beautiful place to live in.

A highlight in this great town is that it is the home of an Official Town Site and home of the only Virginia courthouse known to have been designed by Thomas Jefferson that still stands. It was built in 1823 and it's still being used today. 

Patrick Henry gave his last political speech in opposition to the Virginia and Kentucky Resolutions at Charlotte Courthouse in March 1799. The central courthouse area is a source of pride for those who work and live there. Many of the buildings represent architecture from the 1800s, including the Thomas Jefferson designed courthouse building. The courthouse building was also used in the filming of Sommersby, a movie about the post-war South, in the summer of 1992.

Thank you SERVPRO of Emporia! My husband is suffering from mold exposure in our home and is sick. We have done all the mold testing including ERMI with kits purchased on Amazon. Everything kept coming back with high mold spore counts. My husband is in treatment under the care of a Dr. of functional medicine for 10 months now. Still not getting better. I had a horrible leak under my house that I was unaware of. For months I was sick and couldn't seem to shake it .One day I noticed something on the side of my wall in my bedroom. The mold had grew all the way up and was coming above the height of my bed. I was disgusted. I called Servpro and they came out super fast.
