Justin, Texas located five miles northwest of Grapevine Lake has a ton of history behind it. Originally established in 1883 with the sale of town lots being owned by a man named Chet Helm and a man named Riley. Within a year a general store opened providing a community for farmers. The biggest difference maker was the Santa Fe railroad company extending its line from Fort Worth running past the community. Naturally residents from the surrounding area moved to be closer to the railroad system. In January 1887 the community petitioned postal authorities for a post office to be named Justin, in honor of Justin Sherman, chief engineer of the Santa Fe line.
Since then, Justin has become a beautiful and relaxing town with the residents being just as kind and friendly as it was when it was first established.
Justin schools are served by the Northwest Independent School district, which is one of the largest and wealthiest school systems in the state.
There are some great places to eat in Justin as well, like The Tap-In Grill and Hub, Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant, Joe’s Pizza Italian Restaurant, Outlaws Burgers and BBQ and Lonesome Spur Café to name a few.

Can't say enough good stuff about the team at SERVPRO Highland Village. We had a washing machine flood at 10pm at night. The mitigation team was out within 30 min and working to clean up our mess.
