History of Dickinson, TX
Dickinson, Texas is a tract of land in the Houston--The Woodlands--Sugar Land metropolitan area. The area was named after John Dickinson who had been granted the land in 1824. Over the years, the area grew from the railroad and oil industry booms.
In the 1920s, Dickinson became a tourist destination when several gambling venues popped up in the city.
In more recent history, Dickinson was devastated by Hurricane Harvey in 2017. A large majority of the city was flooded during the storm and half of it was destroyed by flooding.

Biggest props to Kevin and his team Oscar, Jason and Desmond. Kevin answered all our millions of questions and kept us laughing during a very stressful time. They worked fast, efficient and did a great job. They also had teams follow up for days with moisture meters and made adjustments until all areas are dried. Highly recommend them for any remediation project!
SERVPRO came out a week ago to do an inspection for water damage restoration. I was very pleased with the services, but SERVPRO actually came back out today to start services. Rashad Kennedy was the lead and displayed remarkable customer service and I'm very pleased with his services. I will definitely let State Farm know that SERVPRO is outstanding and highly recommended. I was overwhelmed at first, but Rashad made this situation very easy to deal with. 5 Stars.
