Westel is a small community on the Eastern side of Cumberland County Tennessee. It is tucked between State Highway 70 and Interstate 40. As of 2022 Westel is the home of the Flatrock Motorsports Park. This is an almost 800-acre area that includes a racetrack and a bevy of amenities. Just down the road is Ozone Falls and the former ski resort of Renegade Mountain.



Even though Westel is nestled on the side of a mountain, that doesn’t mean that it can’t have water damage. There are several large creeks that flow on the outskirts of the community.
