Walland TN
Walland TN is a beautiful small town located in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains and home of the prestigious and world-renowned resort, Blackberry Farm. It has changed quite a bit from its days as a Cherokee hunting ground of long ago. Walland got it’s name from a large tannery that was located there in the early 1900s, built by the Walton and England Leather Company. Apparently people in the area combined the two names of the company to come up with Walland as a name for the town. Walland sits in Miller’s Cove and runs along the banks of the Little Tennessee River. The area is known for its natural beauty and is a destination for both retirees and people looking to have a second home and just get way from it all. Peace and quiet abounds in Walland TN.
