Hermosa, South Dakota is a growing community at the eastern gateway to the Black Hills that was once dubbed the “Hub to History and Adventure” due to its central location to many historical and magnificent sites in the area. Hermosa got its start as it was developed by the Fremont, Elkhorn, and Missouri Valley Railroad which was then acquired by the Chicago and Northwestern Railway which platted the town in 1886. My 2015 Ford Explorer Sport sat outside for 8 weeks during Covid19. I didn't need to drive. When I finally started it I found that a packrat or mouse had died into the vehicle's air system. It was undrivable. I mean, it literally was a health hazard. I worked with American Family Insurance. I have full coverage and they suggested SERVPRO. It took several weeks but that was fine. SERVPRO killed the smell plus found three more dead mice under the battery. My beautiful Explorer is perfectly clean now. It looks brand new and now I can enjoy driving it again. What a relief! Thank you SERVPRO and thank goodness I had full coverage insurance with American Family Insurance who was very good about this whole ordeal. Hallelujah.
