Initially named New Hope until 1904, Crooks took its current name from railman and politician W.A. Crooks. Located Southeast of Colton and just North of Sioux Falls, Crooks is a charming community that takes pride in its town and residents. Combining with neighboring small towns Colton and Lyon, Crooks has formed the Tri-Valley School district and takes great pride in its Tri-Valley Mustangs baseball programs for all ages. The triumvirate of towns typically boasts a strong football team as well. Games are played at both New Hope and Palmira city parks. Every June, residents of Crooks gather to celebrate Crooks Community Days. Events are held throughout the town at locations such as the city parks and fire department. Community members celebrate everything Crooks with an annual pancake feed, beanbag tournament, 5K race, and many other family-friendly events.

I cannot express my gratitude enough for all SERVPRO has done. The tornado caused significant damage to our home. Eric has been amazing to work with.
