Shickshinny is a borough in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania where the population was 630 at the 2020 census. The borough is named after Shickshinny Creek, which runs through the municipality and the surrounding area. 

FLT Museum, Archives and Children's Library

This ambitious project was undertaken jointly by The Business Association of the Greater Shickshinny Area and the Historical and Preservation Society Society of the Greater Shickshinny Area in order to save and restore this downtown landmark. Nearly completed, the building is now home to both organizations with a unbelievable museum displaying local and regional historic memorabilia and a full-service children's library. Needless to say, this has been a monumental task and has taken the support of numerous volunteers from both organizations.
