Coopersburg is a borough in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. It is a dense suburban community located just seven miles southeast of Allentown, the state’s third largest city.

The history of Coopersburg dates back to the 18th century. Its first settlers were mostly Mennonites who emigrated from Holland between the years 1725 and 1737.  Among them was a man named George Bachman. In 1800, Bachman sold a tract of land to a fellow Dutch immigrant, Daniel Cooper. There, Cooper erected a home where he and his wife raised several children. His eldest son, Peter, was a local judge and served as Deputy Surveyor General of Pennsylvania. The town was named after him on June 25th, 1832.

Today, Coopersburg is an active community with a population of about 2,500 people. Many residents and visitors enjoy the great outdoors in one of several local parks. At Upper Saucon Township Community Park,  locals can be found walking, running, and biking along the popular Saucon Rail Trail. The 7.5-mile-long trail was converted from a former railroad track. Along 3rd street in the center of town, a variety of stores and restaurants can be found, including Coopersburg Diner.

Like the rest of the Lehigh Valley, Coopersburg’s weather is temperate and wet. Humidity and rainfall help to prevent wildfires. However, fires do still occur. When residents and business owners in Coopersburg need a premier fire damage restoration company, they can trust SERVPRO. Our highly trained professionals are certified to restore fire, water, mold, and biohazard damages. SERVPRO teams are always ready to mobilize when disaster strikes, that’s how we’re “Faster to Any Size Disaster”.

Face it, if you’re having to call SERVPRO, it’s probably because you’ve had damage to your house... not a good time. Zach P and Chris R were not only a pleasure to work with during challenging times, but also knowledgeable resources to lean on as we worked through the remediation process. They started with a thorough assessment, took care of the problem and wrapped things up with a detailed report for the insurance company. They were friendly and courteous with great follow through. I highly recommend them! -Joy, via Google Reviews
