Wood Village is a city in Multnomah County, Oregon. Even though we have village in our name, we are considered a city. Wood Village has its own city hall, and its fire department service is provided by neighboring Gresham Fire. Safety is taken seriously in our area. They often post about local holiday events, blood drives, and recycling. 

The city has many Parks & Recreation programs for the residents. You will find updated events on our city's local pages. Nearby lakes and hiking areas make it a nature lovers ideal place to live and or visit. 

Our community precipitation most days of the year apart from a few short summer months. Precipitation is rain, snow, sleet, or hail. With mostly rain, the winters are very wet, cold and overcast. The chance of rain and wet days is very common, which can be a contributor to water damage and mold issues. Summers are dry and clear. In recent years, fires have made their way towards the area and cause fire and smoke damage. July and August are great to visit.
