Located off the busy thoroughfare of Route 9 in Dutchess County, Wappingers Falls is known for the picturesque Wappingers Creek that weaves its way through the old village section of closely built homes and small restaurants in a picture-postcard way. Grinnell Public Library and Mesier Homestead are just a few of the historic places dating back to the late 1800’s.

Route 9 itself has every store and shop you can think of, from car dealerships to grocery stores to boutique retail and big-box stores too. On the other side of the village is the well known Bowdoin Park, a 300 acre park located on the banks of the Hudson River. Great views of the river, picnic pavilions, a splash pad in the summer months and plenty of year-round events make this a common place to visit!

With its location down a steep embankment and the ease of heavy wind gusts coming through, Wappingers Falls has experienced several severe storms and hurricanes causing damage to many properties that required water damage restoration. After a home disaster all you want is someone to come in and make it all go away. ServPro was able to do that for me. I was third party so after the initial estimate it was a day or so and then they showed up in force to mitigate my salt water mess. They removed damaged baseboard and rug pads, mold proofed everything then set up fans and dehumidifiers to dry the whole thing. Everything ran for three days. A team came back after everything was dry and attempted to clean the badly salt damaged rug. I was surprised they even tried but they made a valiant effort and I appreciate the effort. I am extremely satisfied with the work that was done to mitigate my brine tan overflow. I recommend ServPro for any home disaster militating work.
