Town Line, NY is a small but historic place here in Western New York. For decades, we’ve been Town Line’s premier team for water damage restoration, fire damage restoration and so much more. We’re proud to serve the residents of this community, and we’re here to help you in your time of need.
Town Line is a hamlet located between the towns of Lancaster and Alden. The town’s designation as a hamlet is actually important to one of the most notable historical events that took place there.
Back in 1861, a group of 125 men gathered at a schoolhouse in Town Line to take a vote - should the town remain in the United States, or should it secede? The issue, supposedly, was anxiety that there might be a military draft due to the Civil War. By seceding, the citizens of Town Line that they might avoid the horrors of the war altogether.
However, since Town Line was a hamlet and thus never really incorporated as a municipal entity, the resolution turned out to have no legal effect and was never recognized by any formal government. Town Line is one of the only communities of its size to ever take such a vote.
These days, Town Line is a tight-knit and modern community, and we’re proud to provide water damage restoration and fire damage restoration to its citizens.
