Thiells, known as Thiell's Corner in the 1850s, is a hamlet in the town of Haverstraw, Rockland County, New York.  A rural town tucked away on the west side of the Hudson River, the Palisades region is rich in history, diverse habitat, and jaw-dropping views. During the American Revolution, Thiells was known asHaverstraw Forge, where General "Mad" Anthony Wayne, leading Continental Army troops, was able to watch the area of Stony Point.
